LISTEN TO THE WISDOM OF YOUR BODY (your physical body is a guest house to Spirit) and evolve into the NEW QUANTUM HUMAN…….the body possesses wisdom, awareness is directed inward, healing begins with listening, the heart is not merely an organ but a center of knowing, be receptive rather than striving.

BREAKFAST like a king, LUNCH like a prince and DINNER like a pauper….this was our motto in Europe when we lived there.  It was our lifestyle.  So now see below for further suggestions for a healthy lifestyle.

5 to 7 a.m.    Best time to wake up.  It aligns with your natural circadian rhythm and if you meditate for just 10 minutes first thing in the morning it will help balance your hormonal/endocrine system. Furthermore, Be still and know that I AM.  The quieter you become the more you can hear.

7 to 9 a.m. Morning walk outside if possible weather-wise especially if it is sunny – 10 minutes.   If you just do 10 minutes of walking each morning, imagine that you will have done 70 minutes of walking by end of week.  Great job and you absorb Vit D if you live in sunny weather.   Vit. D is known to slow the aging process.

8 to 9  a.m. Breakfast. high-protein meal for helping to maintain muscle mass.   Chew slowly.  Masticate your food BEFORE swallowing.

10 to 11 a.m.  Meditation or Yoga for another 10 to 20 minutes.  Calming and relaxing.   They both reduce inflammation and improve gut health.  Supporting your own weight in yoga helps build strong bones.  Well known through extensive research to boost brain connectivity and slow the onset of diseases like Alzheimer’s.

12 to 2 p.m. Best hours for Lunch as digestive system is the strongest at this time.  Protein and a veggie and this is also time to take your vitamins and minerals as your body will make best use of them.  Mediterranean diet always  good choice with lots of omega-3.  Drink, sip, plenty of water during your day but not during meals.   Only take a sip or two with meals if any because it does interfere with the absorption of other foods.  Water plumps and hydrates your skin…helps with slightly eliminating wrinkles.  Smiling does as well.  Smiling also activates the amygdala which processes emotions and releases happy chemicals to your brain even if it is a fake smile.  So force yourself to smile for even 15 seconds and I think you might find you start to feel better. Give it a try.  It is FREE.

3 p.m. Take another 10 minute walk and do some yoga at this time perhaps another 10 minutes and lift some weights if you have them perhaps another 10 minutes.  I personally prefer afternoon workouts as less chance for injuries as body tends to already be warmer.  Research has shown a preference for afternoon vs morning workouts as well in terms of benefits……your choice however.  Exercise helps everything.

5 to 6 p.m. Dinner.  This needs to be your smallest meal.   This is the time when the body is slowing down.  You do not want it to be working hard when it is trying to rest for the evening.  A poached egg and a small serving of veggies are sufficient for example.  Eat slowly and chew every bite until it is liquid.  Digestion starts in your mouth.  What you do not chew thoroughly places significant stressors on the rest of your digestive system.  Chew and eat slowly.  Masticate your food into a liquid.  Put your fork down if you need to as a reminder to slow down your eating.  Then close up your kitchen for the night and do intermittent fasting as this helps to regenerate stem cells.  I do not eat nor snack at all after dinner until breakfast next morning.   It feels very nice for the body.   Best to stop drinking liquids after 7 p.m. as well so you are not disrupted by a busy bladder and awakened.

6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Go out for the evening and be in community rather than sitting and watching television or being on your computer or cell phone which are so harmful for your brain and your eyes and your consciousness.  We know the benefits of being with friends.  The Blue Zone study clearly exemplified this fact.  Researchers expected that diet was responsible for the longevity (over 100 years of age) of these populations.  Well to their surprise, they found that some were vegans, others vegetarians and still some others carnivores.  So food was not the factor for their longevity at all.  Read the study.  It is most interesting.  We are all needed and interconnected.  The foundational common factor is that they ate in community.  Nutrition is not one size fits all.   Every BODY requires something different to be healthy.  Honor the messages from YOUR body and don’t be pressured to be one way or another.  Listen closely to the wisdom of YOUR body.   You are multidimensional.  No one else has your same history nor akashic patterns.  Refuse to internalize the guilt surrounding food imposed upon you by orthodoxy.  So community is very important no matter what your age as isolation increases the risk of dementia by 30%.  So you can see how unhealthy it is often for elderly to end up in care homes where often they are left most of the day to fend for themselves. No sense of time, no sense of structure, very few if any visitors on a daily basis, etc.

10 p.m. Lights out.   If you stay up beyond this hour you will get a “second wind” and your digestive system will start getting activated rather than using this time for regenerating.  From 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. is when the body is fully regenerating itself.  Weight loss is almost impossible without good sleep during these hours.  The brain loses ground without a good night’s sleep.

There is information available within you that cannot be found outside of you.

You originated in pure LIGHT and condensed to physical form….now our goal is to work out way back to that LIGHT.   The quality of your day matters.  Navigate your time with wisdom and discernment and again listen to the wisdom of YOUR body.  Don’t be a life raft for everyone.

And so it is….LOVE is COURTESY.    In resonance with your heart…dr. teri
